An ARE Member is someone who can affirm the following:
As a person who identifies as white, I embrace ARE's vision of an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, multicultural Unitarian Universalist faith.
I commit to ARE's mission to understand whiteness and privilege, unlearn and challenge white supremacy, and confront racism in ways that are accountable to communities of color.
I will continue developing a personal anti-racist Praxis of learning, action and reflection.
I offer a financial pledge, as my means permit and my heart requires.
Accomplice - $50/yr Gives a membership to an ally who cannot afford it
Disruptor - $100/yr Supports ARE's outreach @ GA
Collaborator - $200/yr Helps build local and regional programs
Co-Conspirator - $400/yr Increases accessibility to coaching and leadership development for more UUs
Reparations Advocate - $800/yr * Calls ARE to include reparations in our Praxis
* Twenty-five percent (25%) of every dollar given at this level goes directly to Unitarian Universalist Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC).
Catalyst - $10/mo Improves connection and collaboration efforts
Transformer - $25/mo Expands ARE's outreach at UU conferences
Power Builder - $50/mo Sponsors gatherings for building the UU movement to disrupt white supremacy
Reparations Champion $100/mo * Commits ARE to full community empowerment
* Fifty percent (50%) of every dollar given at this level goes directly to Unitarian Universalist Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) and enables ARE to respond immediately to BIPOC partners as unexpected needs arise.
